Death Adder Facts
Death Adders happen to be one of the deadliest snakes, well no duh, they wouldnʼt be on this list if it wasnʼt. About Death Adders, they are not like other snakes. They happen to have thick heads and are not thin till you reach the tail. Now about itʼs tail... it has a rat-like tail and is a very bright color, for instance yellow, and it is used as a lure. What does it lure? Well, it is attracting an animal for it to eat. Also, the Death Adder grows up to 3 feet long... not one of the biggest snakes. Which is the reason why it only hunts small mammals, small birds, and anything that is small enough for it to eat.
Deadly to Humans
There is also something about these snakes that happens to get humans killed every-so-often. Itʼs that this snake isnʼt afraid of humans. Now thats just one of the factors that get humans killed. The second factor would be that it is an ambush predator. That means it will lie in wait for an animal to approach it, then it will strike. So this is really bad for humans. Since this snake happens to be camouflaged, it will be hard to spot, and if you step on it, you will get bitten. Now the only thing that can save you is anti-venom.
