Digital Circlism, just like Pencil vs Camera is a project started in 2010 as a mix between Pop Art and Pointillism by digital artist Ben Heine. The artist uses thousands of flat circles, each made of one color, one tone and one dimension placed one after the other over a black background. Ben usually creates portraits of famous and influential people he admires like Bob Marley, Freddie Mercury, Eminem, Elvis Presley, Lady Gaga, Marilyn Monroe or Johnny Depp. Although the artist is making portraits for more than 15 years, his new Digital Circlism style is relatively new and takes a lot of time and dedication for every illustration!
