Its hard to determine who is a celebrity and what it means to be known.
Here are the list.

1.   Ashanti- Ashanti Shequoiya Douglas. Had a hit song Foolish. Singer.
2.   Babyface - Kenneth Edmonds. An American R*B and pop record producer, musician, singer, and songwriter
3.   Beck- Bek David Campell. Singer. Best known song: Loser from 1994.
4.   Beyonce- Beyonce Giselle Knowles. Singer.
5.   Bjork- Bjork Buomundsdottir. Singer.
6.   Bono- Paul Hewson. Member of the band U2. I didn’t know he had a first name. Or a Last one.
7.   Brandy- Brandy Rayana Norwood. American R&B and pop singer-songwriter, record producer, fashion model, actress, and file producer.
8.   Charo- Maria Rosaria Pilar Martinez Molina Baeza. I can see why she went to one name. Music? Acting?
9.   Cher- Cherilyn Sarkisian LaPierre. I can see why she went to one name. Music. Acting
10. Christo- Christo Vladimirov Javacheff. Artist.
11. Chyna- Joan Marie Laurer. Female Pro Wrestler and actress.
12. Coolio-Artis Leon Ivey Jr. Rapper.
13. Dido- Dido Florian Cloud de Bounevialle O’Malley Armstrong. Singer and Songwriter.
14. Divine - Harris Glenn Milstead. Actor and singer.
15. Edge- David Evans. Also in U2.
16. Elvira- Cassandra Peterson. I had heard of her and never knew her real name. Will note that she’s a C-list or lower celeb. Her real name is actually pretty good. Acting?
17. Elvis- Elvis Presley. Not sure he counts since people really do know his last name. But if you say ELVIS people know who you mean.
18. Elvis- Elvis Costello- Born Declan Patrick MacManus. Should have used DECLAN.
19. Eminem- Marshall Bruce Mathers III. White Rapper. His real name was not a good rap name.
20. Enya-Eithne Patricia Ni Bhraonain. Irish Singer.
21. Fabio- Fabio Lanzoni. Male Model.
22. Flea- Michael Peter Balzary. Bassist, Trumpet player, and occaisonal actor.
23. Jewel- Jewel Kilcher. Singer.
24. Halston- Roy Halston Frowick. Fashion Designer. Cute using his middle name.
25. Hammer- Stanley Kirk Hacker Burell. Was M.C. Hammer. Was a celeb. Music.
26. Kreskin- George Joseph Kresge Jr. He was a famous mindreader.
27. Liberace- Wladziu Valention Liberace. Didn’t now that was his last name.
28. Madonna- Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone. Didn’t know that was her real first name.
29. Moby- Richard Melville Hall. Techno Music.
30. Morrissey- Steven Patrick Morrissey. Music.
31. Mr. T- Lawrence Tureaud. I count this as one name. Hey, its just one letter. He claims his first name is Mr his middle name is . and his last name is T. I disagree. Actor.
32. Nas- Nassir Jones. Rapper. Was on the Colbert Report- that counts for being famous.
33. Nelly = Cornell Haynes Jr. Rapper.
34. Oprah- Oprah Winfrey. People know her last name. Probably the most famous person on this list.

36. Penn- Penn Jillette. Magician? Illusionist? Comedian? All of the above. Half of the team Penn and Teller.
37. Pink- Alecia Beth Moore. Singer and sometimes actress.
