The Pegasus is a worldwide unique invention with agravic elegance, created in cooperation with the eccentric designer Luigi Colani. Every insturment is handmade that is why Schimmel only manufactures a very few of them every year. As a symbol for its eponym it has a golden Pegasus on the top: a symbol in the greek myth which stands for beauty.

The grand piano has no even lines or edges: even the keys form an arc. With the transparent basement the concert chamber seems to fly. It stands out due to excellent mechanical characteristics and extraordinary harmonic color: Due to the weight and the compund of the body the development and variety of tone is outstanding. The making of the body derives from the construction types in the formula one. All dress plates, the Pegasus and foot pedals are gilded.

Very special is the connection between instrument and chair: Especially frequenzes in the bass scale are transmitted onto the body of the pianist.
